Revision. Revision. Revision.

January 2nd 2013. Wednesday. 9.30pm.

Day 2 of 365!

Honestly not much happened today. Woke up at around half 10 (see, haven't even been awake 12 hours yet), took ages to get to that point where you can call yourself officially awake - I think I was still slightly hungover from the day before. But, yeah, woke up, got dressed, the usual. Had weetos for breakfast - absolutely lush. Almost all chocolate cereals are lush, to be honest. (I originally thought they were spelt 'wheetos' but a quick Google search just now showed me otherwise). Then I proceeded to revise from midday 'till about 5/6pm. Watched an episode How I Met Your Mother (Season 2, Episode 21, in case you're interested), browsed the interwebs for a bit. Had dinner - a very spicy Thai Green Curry. Played guitar (Patience and 21 Guns). Then remembered about my blogging commitments and proceeded to do so!

Sorry for the relatively long and definitely boring paragraph, but hey-ho, what you gonna do about it?

Still up north for tonight. Possibly for tomorrow night, too. Which is depressing - I like my own bed. Alex's is way too short for me. My feet literally hang off the edge.

But on the upside, Nana is much better. She had a stint put in yesterday (not sure whether I mentioned that last night or not), and had no chest pains since. She's been transferred from Northern General (Sheffield) to Doncaster Hospital.

Ella is being cute as always. But I've realised that I'm starting to get aggravated but really insignificant things: although Ella is cute and isn't even 3 yet, she's already managed to annoy me slightly in the way that she's a bit too bossy etc etc. Normally I wouldn't mention this ever to anyone, because it's such a pretentious thing to get annoyed over, but seeing as you're my blog and mine only, there's no reason why I can't mention what's on my mind. Hey, in a few months/years/decades (although, that last one is a long shot) when I look back at these, it'll be funny to see how my opinion change so rapidly - that's one thing about me, my opinion change so quickly it's ridiculous. That's why I don't really tell my parents much or ever keep them up to date; the 'up to date' things change a lot in my life and it's hard for anyone to keep track other than myself. Most things in my life at the moment would only be more complicated by someone else getting involved.

Anyway, mini-rant over. Oh, I have missed blogging since 'The Diary of Trebor'. I forgot how much better I felt after letting some steam off. I might just stick to my blogging commitments yet!

Good night, all!

Hangover, Heart Attack; Hello, 2013

January 1st 2013. Tuesday. 10pm.

The start of a New Year! And my, oh my - it is guaranteed to be the most interesting one yet!

First off, university! Can't believe that is going to be this year. Only 9 months away! Still haven't got an offer for medicine just yet, though. As it stands: interview from Exeter, rejection from Sheffield, nothing from Newcastle(/Durham), nothing from Southampton, and an offer (AAB) for my backup - Biochemistry at York.

Secondly, this is the year I turn 18. About time, too.

Lastly, a wonderfully relaxing summer holidays awaits.

Anyway, woke up this morning with one helluva hangover. Then straight off out of nowhere travelling up to Yorkshire after my Nana had a heart attack. No biggie though - she is fine, and hopefully she remains to be. Fingers crossed.

But, yeah, an interesting start to the year. My plan (though, how successful it'll be I have no idea) is to blog every day, no matter how short a post. Unless, of course, I am genuinely busy out somewhere, in which case I won't be able to.

Either way, it'll be a while before I'm at a drinking party again - last night was just utterly ridiculous. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it!

I'm currently at Nina's, staying the night here. Dean and Dad are hilariously tipsy. Ella is snoring. I'm tired. Oh, by the way, current book: Life of Pi. It's a good read so far, I highly recommend it!

Alas, the time has come to say good night. So, good night!
